The Maaz-Luther family continues to minister with Harvest Bible University located in Guatemala City, training both pastors and lay people. As part of the current outreach to students at San Carlos University, we have taught classes in English as well as Latin to lawyers. We are in the beginning stages of an initiative to open a student center near the university campus, which will house the Harvest Bible University Headquarters offering academic tutoring for university students along with Bible studies and discipleship training. Selvin continues to pastor Iglesia Biblica Vida Abundante (IBIVA). Through the church, we are providing aid for victims of the Volcan de Fuego eruption on June 3, 2018. Selvin is also studying law at the University of San Carlos and is hoping to use this degree in ministry with the destitute people whom we work with. Laurie is homeschooling our three children who are now in middle and high school. She is the director of

our local English-speaking homeschool co-op. She is also on the planning committee for the annual summer camp for Guatemalan missionary kids.
