Caring for each person holistically

Each year, Healthy Communities After School brings comprehensive medical attention, nutritional support, and health education to more than 1,500 families in six rural communities in Coyolate. In a region where public health services are few and far between, our team goes into homes, schools, and community centers to first listen, because we believe healing begins when someone listens to you.

Empowering families in health management

Nurses and community health promoters offer medical consultations, home visits, diabetes management programs, and infant nutrition monitoring programs. Through monthly workshops, reproductive health services, and diabetes groups, we are building a culture of prevention, one relationship at a time.

This year, we had 3,218 medical consultations, regularly attended to 77 diabetes patients, and actively monitored the nutrition of 82 children. We also visited more than 190 families in their homes and organized 22 community health talks.
