Beeline Wheelchairs
The calling of Beeline Wheelchairs is to help meet the great demand in under-developed countries to provide access to mobility through Assistive Technology. Assistive Technology is the present day terminology that includes wheelchairs, vertical standers, gate-trainers, and any kind of aid that helps improve the quality of life.
The slogan of Beeline Wheelchairs is “Freedom. Function. Flexibility.“ The design of our chairs is such that a person can be fitted all the way from a stroller base for infants to an active chair for adults. The Beeline Wheelchair can accommodate simple to complex seating and positioning. The seating system can tilt in space up to 45 degrees, the back can fully recline, and the leg rest can fully elevate.
The no-weld design makes it easy to assemble and adjust in the field. Using only two basic tools, which are supplied with each chair, all necessary adjustments can be made easily in the field. Wheel sizes can be fitted from 12 to 26 inches, and we use standard bicycle tires and tubes. All models come with quick release axles to facilitate transportation.
Beeline Wheelchairs has a commercially equipped production facility where our wheelchairs and other assistive technology items are manufactured and shipped. With our fiber laser CNC table, we are able to produce almost all of our own wheelchair components. Soon the Beeline production facility will have an injection-molding machine that will allow us to produce our own wheelchair hubs.
Our future plan is to open a basic trade school for equipping young people and those who have mobility needs to give them a marketable skill-set and introduce them to Jesus Christ along the way. Our Beeline technical staff and well-equipped production shop makes this goal of opening a technical trade school a logical next step for ministry outreach.
