About Us

There are many exciting and meaningful ways to be a part of what Mission Impact is doing in Guatemala!

Our Vision

Our passion is to reflect the Glory of God in Guatemala through eight dynamic, nationally lead, long-term ministries that focus on the areas of education, health, nutrition, community development, appropriate technology, pastoral training, and spiritual formation through making disciples.

We value…
~Authority of the Scriptures in all areas of life
~Enjoying His rule and reign in our lives
~Quality relationships
~Prayer and worship
~Holistic ministry – defined as body, soul, and spirit
~The privilege of participating in the Great Commission

We serve by offering an umbrella of care and oversight for partner ministries and support staff. Partner ministries operate independently in rural and developed communities in Guatemala. Current partner ministries focus on…
~Education
~Appropriate Technology
~Health and Nutrition
~Christian character development and values in public schools
~Pastoral Training

We welcome short-term Servant Teams from churches, universities, high schools and civic clubs in North America to serve alongside the vision of our partner ministries.

We see God’s provision in…
~A staff that is multi-national and diverse in background and experience
~A financial foundation of churches and individuals
~A network of co-laborers with churches, schools, universities, local organizations, and communities in Guatemala and North America

This Statement of Faith is not intended to cover all Biblical truth but only to establish a basis for fellowship and cooperation so that we may “all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions.” The Board and staff members of Mission Impact subscribe to the following “Statement of Faith” as stated by the World Evangelical Alliance and National Association of Evangelicals:
1. We believe that the Bible, in its entirety in the original writings, is the inspired, inerrant, infallible and authoritative Word of God. As such, we submit to it as the standard for our conduct.
2. We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious death and the atonement through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His imminent personal return in power and glory.
4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, faith in the Lord Jesus Christ provides the only grounds for justification.
5. We believe in the regenerating ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose power the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
6. We believe in the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life eternal.
7. We believe in the spiritual unity of the Church, which is the Body of Christ, composed of all who are regenerated through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
8. We believe in the reality of heaven, hell and Satan, which gives urgency to Christ’s command to reach all of the world with the Gospel.
Mission Impact was founded in July of 2004 by a group of seasoned North American missionaries and local Guatemalan Christians with a common purpose, “that God would be glorified by our lives and ministries as we work to build His Kingdom in Guatemala through various long-term projects focused on making disciples of Jesus Christ.”

Our original founding partner ministries had a major emphasis in the area of Christian education and discipleship. Our doctrine is evangelical and our scope of ministry is to grow and bless the believers and to reach the lost that don’t know Christ through our actions and our words.

Our Mission Impact, Inc. legal status is that of a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization with our corporation’s statues and by-laws registered in the State of Wisconsin.
