I accepted Jesus as my savior when I was 10, but in my teenage years I strayed. At the age of 17, I recommitted my life to Christ. God called me to be a missionary while on a short-term mission trip to the Northern part of Guatemala, el Peten.
I met a missionary woman there who was sharing that she was there because the men were not answering God’s call on their life. This broke my heart and God used this conversation to move me in the right direction. I decided that I would answer God’s call and become a missionary to my own people.
“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you
to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last.
Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.”
