Josué López

Vida & Esperanza School

I want to share my testimony and call into missions. My parents have always been in ministry serving as pastors at one of the local churches. When I was 8, I made a decision to follow Jesus in Sunday school. I always served in our church’s music ministry, playing the drums, and also helping in the Sunday school classes. There were missionaries from the US at my church and I would help anyway I could.

I knew that I wanted to serve God as a missionary here in Guatemala working with children. I began working at Vida y Esperanza in 2005. I taught music, computers, Christian education and accounting. In 2008, I began to pray about joining Mission Impact and fully relying on God for my support. I joined Mission Impact in January of 2010. I have been serving at Vida y Esperanza School faithfully. I continue to teach accounting, English, and theater as well as serve on the worship team and lead our chapel time every Monday. I am willing to help in any way I can to bring Glory to God.

“For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance:
that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,  that he was buried,
that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures”
1 Corinthians 15:3-4
