I started working, laying brick, for the construction of the school Vida & Esperanza 12 years ago; then I was part of the construction of the Proximos Pasos School as well. Through out this time I was able to work with servant teams as well as national volunteers. I learned about love, friendship and service. One day Jeff Sprecher approached me and we talked about how much time had passed since I started working for MI. He asked if I would consider transitioning from my job to join Mission Impact as a full-time staff member… I said yes. My heart for my community, La Libertad continues to grow.
I am volunteering at my church, l teach once a week in the local public schools at La Libertad and a small village named Buena Vista, also another village named El Rejon, near the town of Sumpango; I am also leading a Kid’s Club there every Thursday.

that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.”
