God has been showing me that the most import thing in my life is to spend time with him and He need to be the first in all what I do, so iam spending time reading my bible, books and walking in the area where i live. One of the blessings that God gave to me is the bible study from my church which is near to my house. Please pray for me that God keep me safe.

Vida y Esperanza school has been ministering for nine years in the community of Santa Lucia Milpas Altas. During the nine years God has been faithful to our ministry. Four years ago He gave us our own building where God used many of you. The land where we are now does not have drainage so we are in a need to buy a piece of land next to the school God start to provide funds through a short term team that visited the school from Medway Community Chruch but we still need the Lord to continue to provide more funds. We need to raise an additional $20,000 to purchase the land. We will be building a drainage system and also an area where the children can play at recess. Please pray that God will do a miracle and provide the money for this need.

I want to thank you so much for pray for me and my ministry here at Vida y Esperanza school. In two weeks the students are going to have vacations for two months. In november the teachers we are going to work on preparations for the next year we also going to have a week of retirement and training on differents topics related with christian education. so please pray for us that god continue working in the life of the people in the community of Santa Lucia.

God continues to use us to share the gospel at Vida Y Esperanza. I’m excited to share that in May, Josue, Jen and I began meeting with a group of Mothers of the students every Monday to pray for the school, teachers, community of Santa Lucia and for our country. We continue to meet and it is our hope that more Mothers, and perhaps Fathers as well, will join us with time and be able to develop a Bible Study.
Also, on August 24th & 25th we have a retreat planned to talk to the students about their identity in God. The kids face many pressures to experiment with a life contrary to God and so it’s our hope that through this retreat they will choose identity in Christ.

God has taken me through many different season in life. One difficult thing was that in February I was in an accident. However, God showed His faithfulness through protecting me and the other man involved. Things like this continually remind me to return to the promise He showed me 20 years ago from Acts 13:47 “For this is what the Lord has commanded us ‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth’. Through all the seasons God has brought me through and will bring me through, it’s my desire to live Acts 13:47 and be a light.
