Philippians 4:13I work in Santa Maria de Jesus at Proximos Pasos school for girls. As the director, I am in charge of supervising the teachers, and making sure the girls receive a quality education.
My parents are missionaries and I grew up in the local church. I accepted Christ at the age of 10, after praying with my pastor. As far as I can remember, I have always enjoyed serving in the church. As I young girl I worked with the children’s program at church, and youth group.
In 2002 I began working with Proximos Pasos as a teacher, and in 2003 I became the director. The school has really grown since 2002. We have over 100 girls at our school in first through sixth grade.
Throughout the day, I often quote the verse “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” I repeat this to the girls when they doubt their ability to study, or when they are dealing with a difficult situation at home.
