I was born into a Christian family and recieved Christ at the age of four. I attended a missions-minded church and was challenged by a missionary during my Junior High School years to not fear God's call to missions, but obey joyfully knowing that he lovingly knew what was best for me. After graduating in 1990, I became a missionary with World Impact, living and teaching in the inner-city of Los Angeles.
It was at World Impact - Los Angeles that I met and married Selvin and God blessed us with three children. Seeing the need for mature Christian Hispanic leaders in the city to disciple others, Selvin felt that God would have him be a foreign missionary in Los Angeles, where he has been serving for the past 12 years.
God has graciously and specifically led us through this season of transition from ministry in my home country to ministry in Selvin's home country.We are excited to be joining the Mission Impact team in Guatemala in September 2009.
