Proverbs 3:5-6I grew up in a Christian home and trusted Jesus as my Savior at a very young age and have always had a heart to do God’s work.In 1989 we took a month off and traveled to a remote village in Papua New Guinea. It was our first cross-cultural experience with foreign missions. Then in 1997, I lead a team of young people (including two of our daughters) to Guatemala for a two week outreach. This is where I met a lot of the staff who make up MI.
Since then I have been taking, on average, two teams a year to the mission field. Our trips have included the Dominican Republic and Hungary. The first short term mission trip was a pivotal time for our family. Since then, the adults in our family (along with their children at times) have shared the gospel through short term missions in over 22 countries. God has placed in us a passion for His work in the nations.
